With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance
Synopsis
Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails team up against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they’ve ever faced before. The filmmakers of the previous films cited playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) as inspiration.

The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). In the Knuckles TV series, Sonic said, “Robotnik is gone, and there is no new battle to fight.” But in this film, he told Tails and Knuckles that they had to ask Dr.
